Discrimination
Personally, I believe we all do it.
This thread was originally going to be intended for just black people, but it applies universally to gay people, fat people, people of a different nationality and basically anybody who is different from the social majority.
What's your opinion on this? Are you apart of a targeted minority or are you a person who does do this?
Personally, I can understand if people might be afraid, upset or weary around certain people because of their beliefs or their practices, but I don't approve of people who claim to be 'right' and enforce their ideas on other people, especially by force.
How about you?

I think the whole "Our way is right" thing is pointless, specifically in religion. It's just people doing things a different way isn't it? In everyday life people are all different, nobody is exactly similar, so the only difference really is that it is on a larger scale and that more power is involved. That generally leads onto powerful people trying to become more powerful by getting rid of the other groups. It's all totally pointless. Everyone should be free to do what they want as long as it doesn't harm the others. But I guess life is life and there's always going to be some clashes.

RE: Discrimination
Somehow I try to not discriminate, but outside your consiousness you will automaticly produce discriminating facts when you meet someone. If you see a black man people in our country will automaticly grab their bags, and walk around him.
I myself try to no discriminate, one of my best friends is from Turkey, but somehow you always get these toughts. Altough i find everyone equel.

RE: Discrimination
I treat everyone equally, just that like what Xarim said, sometimes without knowing it you feel insecure and strange when near a negro.

RE: Discrimination
Everyone does it to some extent, I don't think it matters who you are or what you think it's probably lurking in you somewhere. I discriminate from time to time, I'll admit it, but I try not to especially since I know what it's like being gay myself. (Though I make racist comments to my black co-worker, but she knows I'm screwing with her. xD)
