Explodey Doom

I don't need help or anything, I resolved my problems, but I feel like complaining in detail about it. xD

So my normal computer (an iMac) is in getting a new screen put in because the image burning in the screen that shouldn't really be happening. I did it now because I'm out of school and I don't particularly need my graphics programs until it starts again on the 22nd of this month. I dropped it off at the Apple Store on Monday.

I've been using my secondary (also ancient) computer the past few days. (If you didn't read that PC thread in one of the other boards here, it's an old Gateway that dual-boots XP Home and Vista Home Premium on a dual-HDD setup with a P4 1.5GHz processor and 512MB RAM.) I normally use it for older light-duty games or WoW, which barely functions. WoW does not work well in Vista for whatever reason, it lags really badly.

So my XP installation exploded itself all over all of a sudden, naturally. I've spent the last several hours reinstalling XP and getting my system back together, and if anyone has tried dual-booting XP and Vista they'll know that it's obnoxious.

It's finally all working again, now I'm just waiting for SP2 to download and install so I can finish the rest of the updates and install the programs that require SP2 to run. (Like Windows Live Messenger.) Then I have to copy my files back as best as I can. xP

</3 Windows and its random self-destructs. I could be another week and a half yet before I get my Mac back, so that's the only reason I'm fixing this really.
