I played it for about a month, and I couldn't do anything and it was hard to find a decent party so I quit. I kept getting killed and leveling down. XP

Anyways 2 people told me the hang of it, and one gave me a good sword. Therefor I don't find it to hard to stay alive, just heal often, etc.

Rule no1, be mage, and parties will be better.

I was a Red Mage but I couldn't get to a high enough level to use Cure. I made it once then died and leveled back down. xD

This was also like four-ish years ago, I don't know how much it has changed since then.

You can get cure at level 4 :\?

I play in Bastok, which is OK, just ugly

It was level 10 for me.

I played in... Sandoria? Something like that. I'd occasionally get killed off by horribly powerful beetles and bunnies. The orc things are what usually got me. I never got much farther than the forest right outside the city.

Well What race were you? Humes do fine XD. Either way; you're not supposed to leave the area next to town till you are at least level 10..

I think I was an elf person.
