The old classic poll of next generation consoles.

Which one do you think is best, and try to convince the others you're right!

I would go for a PS3. The wii is quite childish, as i'm sure it is meant to be, and is not quite the gamers console. That leaves PS3 and X-Box 360. I mainly go for the PS3 as I just generally prefer Sony and I don't know too much about the X-Box 360. But I'm happy to be proved wrong by anyone who knows something? ^^

Well to get back to your point at the Wii, the graphics aren't good, but the gameplay was meant to be childish. It's a good way to lose adrenaline, or to have a good laugh, like at Raving Rabbits. But the game selection isn't as good as Sony's playstation 3. I'm following you on the Xbox, I never was a xbox fan, so I'm no expert either.

I guess that is what Nintendo intended for it to do. It was never aimed at the older age market but it was still good fun if you fancied a good jump around. Got boring after a while though

2 of My friends own a Wii, and if I feel like Wiiing I'll just go to them. Altough MOH on the Wii seems pretty much cool to me.

I'm sellign my Wii right now actually. I've only turned it on 5 or 6 times in the first week of playing. If I want to jump around then I'm sure I know someone with a Wii Or maybe I could go play real sports? Who knows

I've played it numerous times at my friends house and it is immense. The games on XBox don't interest me and I haven't played a PS3 s I can't comment, but I can assume it will just be more of the same tbh, like the PS2 was WOWOMG at first then it became a everyday thing.

The Wii was absolutely amazing I agree but I probably played it too much at the start. It isn't really a console I could play for hours on end on I don't think, which imo it needs to do to be a Next Gen. Console.

So according to you only the Xbox and Ps3 are next gens?
What would you classify The Wii then?

I wouldn't say the Wii is next gen. because it just doesn't have enough in it. I agree it is something very different and new but I don't think it fits all the requirements to be a "Next-Gen Console."

Then again, this totally depends on what you think a next-gen console is.
