RE: Smoking

Our smoking ban went into effect sometime last year, I don't remember exactly when it was. It wasn't an easy date like January 1st though. x3

RE: Smoking

people smoking everywhere here, eventhough there's a sign of no smoking. i don't like smoking or people who smoke. it pissing me more if people smoke inside a place when the ac is on.

When you have eliminated the impossible, whatever remains, however improbable, must be the truth.

RE: Smoking

I think its anti social and generally retarded. Firstly if you smoke around other people, it shows a complete disregard for others, and shows you to be selfish. Not only are you damaging your body, your damaging others to. Secondly with all the health warnings around and printed on cigarette packets, you would be stupid to smoke. Are these people that blind to the damaging effects that smoking causes; Infertility, Cancer, Bronchitis and Emphysema to name a few. I understand for those that started smoking say 30 years ago as the effects weren't as well known, but in this day and age there is no excuse. (Breathes deeply sorry for that rant, had to get it of my chest Wink)

RE: Smoking

Hrm, lessee....

Smoking. I see it, to some people, it's a stress reliever and just something to help you get through the day. Something you need. (Although I think it can seriously be bad for you, just depeending on your level of tolerance.)

As for public places. I do believe that it shouldn't be allowed INSIDE. But outside is a different matter. Air can be circulated by breezes. If they DO allow it inside, at least have a smoking area.

RE: Smoking

Same for me. My grandfather always smoked, he quit lately, but just moved to tobacco... And another grandfather and grandmother smoke. Yano, plus uncles, aunts, cousins...

It just seems like they need it. :| Only thing is, I noticed that after the first grandfather quit smoking, he seemed to come alive. He wasn't as slow and dullwitted, or as tired. It seemed to be hurting him.
